At its June 2012 meeting, the Administrative Council elected Serafeim Stasinos, the head of the Hellenic delegation, as chairman of its Budget and Finance Committee. With effect from 27 June 2012, he has taken over from Guus Broesterhuizen (NL), whose term of office recently ended.
The Council congratulated Mr Stasinos on his appointment and wished him every success during his three-year term as BFC chairman. It also paid tribute to Mr Broesterhuizen and thanked him warmly for his years of outstanding service to the BFC, as the body appointed by the Council to monitor the EPO's budget and advise on decisions likely to have a financial impact.
