1. Interruption
1.3 Date of interruption
An interruption is registered (in general retroactively) with legal effect from the date on which the event in question occurred. If proceedings are interrupted on request, the interruption takes effect from the date on which the EPO received the request.
The parties are informed of the interruption of proceedings and the reasons for it. The date of their interruption is recorded in the European Patent Register, as is the date on which they are resumed.
