4.5.5 Admittance of new facts, objections, arguments and evidence
In T 1759/17 the board observed that evidence of common general knowledge could be filed at a later stage if it served to back up arguments that had already been put forward, e.g. to solve a dispute over whether facts relied on by a party were common general knowledge. This however was not the case here because the document at issue presented new information which had not been argued before to be part of the common general knowledge.
