4.2.1 General remarks 

The Arrangements for deposit accounts (ADA) and their annexes are updated on a regular basis, either in their entirety or in part, whenever a change or clarification of the scope of practice is required. A consolidated version of theThe ADA was were last published in full as Supplementary publication 2, OJ EPO 2024 (and were subsequently amended note that this version does not reflect the subsequent amendments made by decision of the President dated 25 September 2024, OJ EPO 2024, A81, and by decision of the President dated 12 February 2025, OJ EPO 2025, A17). The ADA can also be found on the EPO website (epo.org).

A distinction must be drawn, in connection with deposit accounts, between:

(i)payments to replenish deposit accounts and 

(ii)payments of fees in connection with proceedings under the EPC or the PCT.
