3.1 Form of the opposition 

The notice of opposition must be filed in writing and must be typewritten or printed, with a margin of about 2.5 cm on the left-hand side of each page. Where possible, the notice of opposition should also satisfy the requirements laid down in Rule 49(2) in conjunction with the decision of the President of the EPO dated 7 July 202525 November 2022 (OJ EPO 2025, A49OJ EPO 2022, A113).
