Patent insight report on quantum simulation  

Following our recent report on quantum computing, we have just published a new patent insight report on quantum simulation. This is the EPO's eighth patent insight report, and the fourth on quantum technologies.  

This latest report borrows from publicly available patent information to give an overview of developments in the field of quantum simulation. We focus on developments in the second generation of quantum technologies, which build on the ability to control both the quantum-physical properties of individual or small groups of particles (such as atoms and photons) and their behaviour.
