Can I refuse to let the oral proceedings be audio recorded?
No. Under Article 1(1) of OJ EPO 2025, A32, it is at our discretion to decide whether to make an audio recording of oral proceedings for the purpose of minuting the proceedings with the assistance of AI. The agreement of parties to the audio recording is not required.
