What is the Annex F standard?

The Annex F standard states that all documents in PDF format must meet the following requirements:

• They must be Adobe Portable Document Format Version 1.4 compatible
• They must have non-compressed text to facilitate searching
• The text must be unencrypted
• They must not contain any embedded OLE objects
• All fonts must be embedded and licensed for distribution
