European Qualification Exam (EQE) Tutors Meeting

Insights into the Most Recent EQE – Annual Meeting of Tutors and Members of the EQE Committees

One of the priorities of the European patent academy and epi is to support the network of tutors preparing candidates for the European qualifying examination. This event is open to everyone interested in the EQE framework and committed to supporting and preparing future candidates to sit and successfully pass the EQE, including epi tutors, providers of EQE training courses, as well as tutors assisting their internal candidates in preparing for the examination.

The event includes presentations from the members of the EQE committees on the specific aspects and key features of each recent EQE paper, as well as statistics about the performance of candidates and any other issues identified in the marking of the recent EQE papers. The presenters will also cover any questions that are submitted in advance by tutors using the form below. There will also be multiple simultaneous breakout sessions in which the tutors can have a discussion with the EQE committee members in a smaller group. The event provides an excellent opportunity for tutors to learn more about where and how to place emphasis when training candidates for the next EQE.

This year was the last year of papers A to D and there will also be sessions looking forwards to the new papers M3 and M4.
