4.3.4 Discretion under Article 12(4) RPBA

Overview

l) Obvious corrections in description

In T 1444/20 the description of the main request (filed as auxiliary request 1 with the statement of grounds of appeal) contained insertions, in several occurrences, which in the board's view were obvious corrections under R. 139 EPC that did not contravene Art. 123(2) EPC. The board saw no reason to hold this request inadmissible under Art. 12 RPBA.
