Patent infringement and infringement proceedings
This judges-for-judges training is designed to facilitate the exchange of experiences and knowledge among judges on dealing with patent infringement cases. Reserved for judges only, the course offers a convenient space for a free Chatham House Rule discussion among peers from different European jurisdictions. The online modular format of the course is adapted to judges’ busy agenda: it is possible to follow the course in its entirety or register for selected thematic seminars only.
The presentations by judges are complemented by a few experienced litigators to provide participants with their perspective and reasons for procedural actions.
The course room, including preparatory reading materials and a discussion forum, will open on 16 September. Participants are expected to prepare for the first live sessions by reviewing the self-study materials by 23 September.
