Patenting Innovation (RTTP-recognised)

Patents are a powerful asset in the toolbox of a technology transfer professional.

This two-day interactive course covers how innovative ideas are protected within the patenting system and how to manage and license these patents. Topics include the patent system and other related IP rights, patent knowledge and tools, and how IP is used in business environments.

It has been accredited by the Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP) and carries 11 continuing education (CE) points for the Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) professional qualification (subject to an attendance of at least 90% of the course).

Successful completion of this course meets the eligibility requirements of our upcoming (NW03-2026) Train-the-trainer: IP-driven technology transfer course.

The course is now fully booked. Further editions of this course are planned for Q3 and Q4 2026.
