Search I: structuring a search and defining a search strategy

This workshop on search allows to leverage the several learning resources on structuring search and defining a search strategy. It will be very much practice-oriented: 

  • Session 1 - Friday, 6 March 2026 at 09:30 hrs CET (GMT+01:00) : After a summary of the theoretical knowledge behind a structured search, a group exercise will be proposed and discussed, to illustrate the various aspects of the proposed methodology. As a part of the first session, the participants will be invited to prepare a case study for the second session. 

  • Session 2 - Thursday, 19 March 2026 at 09:30 hrs CET (GMT+01:00) : Participants will be invited to share their experience with the group. The tutors will also answer the questions posted in the forum between the two online sessions. 

The workshop is not focused on a specific search tool. 

Before attending the workshop, the participants will be invited to carefully study the training material that is published on the EPO website.
