Social media for job seekers

The EPO has launched a Facebook page, Twitter account and a LinkedIn group for people interested in working at the EPO.

Part of our ongoing efforts to find qualified applicants, especially engineers and scientists interested in working as patent examiners, these channels provide a new way to keep track of current job vacancies.

We will post interviews, testimonials, videos and other information about working at the EPO, as well as dates for recruitment fairs and other events.

These new activities complement our existing social media channels, which include:

• a Twitter account, which covers important news and announcements from the EPO, as well as information on inventions and innovation in general,
• a Facebook page dedicated to the European Inventor Award,
• a Flickr account with photos from the European Inventor Awards, and
• a YouTube channel that broadcasts the Office's videos.
